1. Our Approach
At Tap-Stars, we stand behind the quality of the products we supply and the services we provide.
We aim to offer a clear, reliable, and professional warranty experience — with a single point of contact for all questions and support.
2. Your Point of Contact
Tap-Stars is your first and only point of contact for all warranty-related matters.
Even when products are manufactured by third parties such as Quooker, we handle communication and coordination on your behalf.
3. Product Warranty
All products are covered by the applicable legal warranty under EU law.
This means:
· Products must conform to the agreement
· Products must function as reasonably expected
If a product is defective or does not meet expectations, we will:
· assess the issue
· repair, replace, or provide an appropriate solution
Where applicable, manufacturer warranties may also apply.
4. Installation Warranty
All installations carried out by Tap-Stars are covered by a 12-month workmanship warranty.
This covers:
· installation-related defects
· improper connection or setup
If an issue arises due to installation, we will:
· inspect the situation
· correct the issue where necessary
5. What Is Not Covered
Warranty does not apply in the following cases:
· Incorrect installation by third parties
· Improper use or handling
· Lack of maintenance (including failure to maintain water treatment equipment such as filters or a water softener)
· Damage caused by external factors
· Normal wear and tear
6. Water Quality & System Performance
Water quality varies by region.
In areas such as the South of France and Monaco, high mineral content (limescale) may impact:
· performance
· lifespan
· maintenance requirements
For optimal performance, appropriate water treatment (such as filtration or softening) is recommended.
Issues caused by water conditions are not covered under warranty, including damage caused by limescale or by the absence of, incorrect setup of, or improper maintenance of filtration or a water softener (e.g. missing salt refills, incorrect settings, lack of periodic servicing, or clogged/expired consumables).
7. How to Request Warranty Support

We will respond and guide you through the next steps.
8. Resolution Process
Depending on the situation, we may:
· Provide remote support
· Arrange an inspection
· Repair or replace components
· Coordinate with the manufacturer
Each case is handled individually to ensure a fair and efficient outcome.
9. Important Notes
· Warranty applies to normal residential use unless otherwise agreed
· Any intervention by third parties without prior approval may void warranty
· Installation services and product warranty are assessed separately
